The Non-Invasive Nature of Chiropractic Treatment

Greetings. This is Dr. Joshua Pollack from Joshua Tree Chiropractic in El Cerrito Plaza in beautiful El Cerrito, California. I wanted to ask you, what do you really know about chiropractic care? Did you know that chiropractic is the largest noninvasive healthcare system in the United States? Chiropractic is noninvasive because it doesn’t require drugs or surgery. Nothing goes inside of your body. The key to that is that we essentially engage your body to heal itself. Chiropractic works with the nervous system, the system that controls every cell and organ in your body.

You see, when parts of your spine get misaligned and they don’t work properly anymore, inflammation occurs, and inflammation can stop the flow of information from your brain to the cells of your body. When that happens, miscommunication occurs, and then your body doesn’t work quite as good as it possibly should. Chiropractic has been a little secret to take care of that for over a hundred years. Statistically speaking, chiropractic care is much safer than invasive drugs and surgery that can often become addictive or have added complications. Now, if you’re unfamiliar, you should know that there’s a lot of different techniques in chiropractic. Some are more forceful than others, but none of them should hurt. Chiropractic, in fact, is one of the most pain-free types of therapies out there to help you achieve optimal health.

Here at Joshua Tree Chiropractic, we offer a wide variety of techniques to enable you to feel most comfortable during your chiropractic experience. Our goal is to make you feel calm and comfortable so that your adjustments are smooth and easy, and you’re able to assimilate to the experience and get the most out of your holistic healthcare. Chiropractic, again, works with your body’s innate ability to heal. Our goal is not to mask your symptoms of pain. Our goal is to find the cause of your pain and alleviate it at the source.
